Conns Creek – Conns Creek is small by any standard. The bottom is mostly sand and gravel. This creek fishes best in early spring when spawning fish from the Flatrock River move up to make their beds. The productive fishing holes in Conns Creek are widely scattered so we usually reserve this little gem for a quick visit at the end of another trip. Casting a fly on this stream is not for the faint of heart, however it gives up some very nice early season smallmouth. Walk-in wade fishing only.
